Vintage Style Engagement Rings

An increasing trend over the past few years has been vintage style jewellery. There are two main types of vintage engagement rings.
(i) actual antique engagement rings from Art Deco; Edwardian; Victorian periods
(ii) Modern rings with a vintage replicated theme - usually in the form of a halo

Genuine antique rings can be expensive and difficult to find but are authentic. Most are made in platinum with transitional cut diamonds with fantastic hand engraved detail.

Most vintage style diamond rings are simply halo style rings. These are solitaire rings with a halo of smaller diamonds surrounding the diamond and often diamonds on the band.

The modern rings usually do not have the same attention to detail as the antique rings. These are usually hand engraved with transitional cut diamonds or hand cut diamonds.
